Private Two-Day Couples Intensives

You still love each other. You are just exhausted by the same painful cycle.

For partners caught between conflict, shutdown, mistrust, trauma responses, or emotional distance—who need more than a 50-minute hour to understand what keeps happening and begin to change it.

Focused clinical care for a relationship that still matters to both of you.

A Clear Path Forward

See the Pattern Clearly

Start with a free consultation and fit screening. Then prepare around the cycle that keeps pulling you apart—not just the latest argument.

Interrupt the Cycle

Across two focused days, slow reactivity, understand what sits underneath the conflict, and practice more honest, safer conversations.

Carry It Home

Leave with a shared language, practical tools, and clear next steps to keep the old pattern from quietly taking over again.

Choose the Right Pace

Weekly therapy or a couples intensive?

Both paths support deeper relationship work. The right fit depends on how much structure, time, and momentum you need right now.

Ongoing Support

Weekly Therapy

A steady rhythm for relationship stress, trauma patterns, emotional safety, and work that benefits from time and repetition.

  • HIPAA-compliant telehealth
  • Available for clients in CO, PA, SC, and VA
  • In-network options in select states
  • $175 per session for private pay

  • In-person or virtual options
  • Private-pay service

From Bracing to Understanding

A calmer setting gives hard conversations room to go somewhere different.

When every conversation turns into the same fight—or one of you shuts down before it starts—there is rarely enough room to understand the real pattern. The intensive gives you uninterrupted time, careful pacing, grounding, and structure so both partners can move from reacting to seeing what is happening underneath.

This is not about deciding who is right. It is about making the cycle visible, understanding what each person is protecting, and building a more workable way to respond when the relationship gets activated.

Who This Is For

For partners who want to stop making each other the problem.

  • You still care about each other, but the same conflict cycle keeps taking over.
  • Trauma, betrayal, distance, shutdown, or defensiveness has changed the way safety feels.
  • Weekly sessions have felt too spread out to hold the momentum you need.
  • You want direct, private, clinically grounded time instead of a retreat-style experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions couples ask before taking the first step.

Is this a retreat?

No. The beach setting supports grounding and regulation, but this is private, structured clinical work—not a vacation package or a group retreat.

How do we know if an intensive is safe for us?

Fit is screened before the intensive. Active or recent violence is not appropriate for couples intensive work.

Can insurance pay for it?

Insurance cannot be used for intensives, and superbills are not provided for reimbursement.

Do you offer financing for couples intensives?

Yes. CareCredit financing is available for eligible clients. Ask about this option during your free consultation.

Where are intensives available?

In-person options are available in Virginia and South Carolina. Virtual intensives are available when clients are located in Colorado, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, or Virginia.
